Location
The Lazy E-L Ranch is an easy hour and a half drive from Billings Logan International Airport and a half hour drive from historic Red Lodge, Montana, and the magnificent Beartooth Highway. Within easy driving distance is Cody, Wyoming, and the renowned Buffalo Bill Historic Center, and the northeast entrance of Yellowstone National Park. The ranch is adjacent to the Custer National Forest and the 346,000 acre Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness Area.

Directions to the Lazy E-L Ranch
From the airport in Billings, take 27th Street to I-90. Head west on I-90 (towards Butte) for approximately 35 miles. Exit at Columbus (exit #408) and head south on Hwy. 78 towards Absarokee and Red Lodge. About 14 miles south of Absarokee, at mile 20, turn right into the tiny town of Roscoe. Drive through Roscoe, and when the pavement turns to dirt, go straight towards the mountains on the East Rosebud Road. The Lazy E-L Ranch gate, shown in the photo above, is three miles up the East Rosebud Road. Take the ranch road for a mile and a half to the ranch headquarters.
From The Airport via Red Lodge
From the airport in Billings, take 27th Street to I-90. Head west on I-90, exit at the Laurel/Red Lodge exit (exit #434). Turn left on Hwy 212 towards Red Lodge, which from Laurel is about a 45 minute drive. At the entrance of Red Lodge, turn right on Hwy. 78 and drive towards Absarokee.
