The Beartooth Mountains boast some of the highest elevations in the lower 48 states, and features 20 peaks over 12,000 feet in elevation. Glaciers are abundant in the Beartooths and can be found on the north face of almost every mountain peak over 11,500 feet. The 900,000 acres that comprise the Absaroka-Beartooth mountains feature hundreds of lakes, alpine forests, and wildlife including grizzly and black bears, elk, bison, mountain goats, marmots, mule deer and whitetail deer. Bring your camera!
Red Lodge

A great afternoon outing to the nearby historic town of Red Lodge is a guest favorite. When coal was mined here, Red Lodge was a thriving metropolis. Red Lodge is now fueled by tourism and adventure seekers during the summer months and skiers during the winter months. The downtown area has lost little of its historic vibe and provides a cozy atmosphere for strolling, shopping, and dining.

During the summer this nightly event attracts tourists and cowboys alike. Staff often accompany guests and sometimes even compete in one or two of the events.
